Book of Acts Part 58 – 28:1-31

This is the final lesson in the series on The Book of Acts. Chapter 28 begins with Paul being shipwrecked on the island of Malta and what follows is the supernatural work the Lord did through him. This is Biblical Christianity and we are to live it out today. The accounts in this wonderful, Spirit-filled and Spirit-inspired book wasn’t given to us so we could merely look back to see what the Lord has done. He gave us these accounts to stir our faith so we can see the God of miracles working in our midst through signs and wonders and truly Spirit anointed preaching right now. May the Lord raise up men and women with the fire and anointing that Paul had, for we serve the same Almighty God.

Book of Acts Part 47 – 20:1-24

Acts chapter 20 opens with Paul leaving Ephesus after Demetrius, a silversmith that manufactured idols, had started a riot in an effort to silence Paul either by death, imprisonment or expulsion from the city. The silversmiths had taken a major decline in their income from the sale of idols because of the revival that swept the city after Paul began preaching the Gospel. After Paul left Ephesus he made his way to Corinth, Greece for a third visit. After this be began heading to Jerusalem, hoping to arrive by the Feast of Pentecost. As we follow Paul’s journey to Jerusalem we see a man who loves Jesus with his entire being and loves people compassionately.

Book of Acts Part 17 – 5:36-6:4

In this lesson we will finish studying the second recorded account of persecution that the infant church experienced. We will examine their response to this persecution, which was radical. Then we will begin looking at an important leadership issue that’s recorded at the beginning of Acts chapter six. This deals with the sin of prejudice that crept into the church.
